Adult Care
Weight is regulated by biology. An evaluation starts with what your body is doing and why, and with a conversation that does not begin with blame.
Weight history over time, medical conditions and medications that affect weight, laboratory results, sleep, activity and what has already been tried.
The goal is to understand the pattern in front of us and to agree on a plan that is about health, not appearance.
When medication is appropriate, we discuss what it does, what it does not do, how it is monitored and what happens if it is stopped. When it is not appropriate, we say so.
No result is promised. What is offered is a careful evaluation and follow-up over time.
